Spooky Fun Halloween Events In Destin
The Halloween spirit is alive and well in Destin, Florida with tons of events planned this Halloween season. With the weather still sunny and oh-so-warm, there are always countless things to do in and around Destin to celebrate Halloween. Whether you want to bring the kids trick or treating, or looking for an all-day family fun event, you’re sure to find the perfect activity for you and your family in our compiled list below:
Halloween falls on a Sunday this year, so the whole weekend will be filled with tons of activities. As always, check with the local venues just in case there should be a change because of the weather.

It’s going to be a frightfully fun time for the family on Halloween!
This eerie event will be full of kid’s creepy crafts, fantasy face painting, trick-or-treating, and a costume contest.
Get creative and bring the kids and dogs, dressed in their bewitching best for the costume contest. Come dressed to impress and you might win a hauntingly awesome assortment of prizes.
After the contest, kids can go trick-or-treating in a safe and friendly environment at participating stores throughout Destin Commons.
Enjoy a farm hayride that will take you around the farm and to the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin of your choice. New activities for this year include a ¾ mile train ride around the farm and a new innertube hill slide! Other activities include corn box, horse and regular swings, spider web, pirate ship, zip lines, pedal tractor cart racing, hill slides, rat racers, sand box and an 8-acre corn maze with kiddie maze. Every visitor receives a free cup of our famous homegrown boiled peanuts. Sit back and relax on our farm market porch, see you at the farm!

Not only does it have an exciting lineup of fall-related attractions like a corn maze, pumpkin patch, and hayrides, but it also keeps the kids entertained with unique activities like a tube cannon, corn cannon and cow train.

Come run the McGuire’s of Destin Halloween Run race in Destin this October! Course starts next to McGuire’s of Destin and winds along Choctawhatchee Bay on tree-lined streets and finishes in McGuire’s parking lot .Destin’s BEST Post Race Party featuring Live Entertainment, Irish Fare, Irish Wakes, McGuire’s Ale & Soft Drinks, immediately after the race under McGuire’s Party Tent.
Enjoy spooktacular LuLu’s Halloween festivities and kid’s costume contest at BooLu’s from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 30. The spooky fun will have candy treats from LuLu’s and activities to include mini-pumpkin decorating, kid’s crafts, and inflatable play area. There will also be Pirate Magic Shows at 1 and 3 p.m. Kids can partake in a faboolous costume contest in age categories 0 – 3, 4 – 7, 8 – 11, 12+, and Family/Group with prizes for the winners. The contest begins at 1:30 and ends at 3:30, with awards at 3:45. Best of all, this day of fun BooLu’s events is all free.

Calling all ghouls, ghosts, and goblins to the Village of Baytowne Wharf for a spooktacular extravaganza!
This Halloween, Trick or Treat through the Village streets and visit merchants for your favorite treat. Steve Hall will play frightenly good tunes on the main stage, enjoy crafts and balloon animals. Be sure to stop by Coconut Kidz to enter the costume contest and compete to win the grand prize! End the night with a spooky fireworks display at 8pm.
