Summer Drink: The Worm Bucket
Whether you are looking for a nice drink on the beach, or something to have while you are soaking up the sun on crab island, the worm bucket is going to be your new favorite summertime beverage. It combines all of our favorite things: Gummy worms, Juice, and Rum. Add a little sunshine to the mix and you have yourself one fine cocktail!
Where did the worm bucket originate?
The worm bucket first popped up on our radar at the prop stop in Louisiana. It makes for a refreshing drink on a hot spring or summer day!
What is in the Worm Bucket?
Sprite, Rum, Pineapple Juice, Grenadine, and of course, gummy worms. You can change up the recipe as you see fit, but today we are going to provide you with the most basic recipe.
Worm Bucket Ingredients:
.75 oz sprite
1 dash of grenadine
1.5 oz pineapple juice
3 oz rum
Worm Bucket Directions:
Fill your cup with ice
Add rum to the cup
Pour in your sprite and pineapple juice
Add in your splash of grenadine
Then top off with a gummy worm
If you are looking to make your worm bucket a little sweeter try using a flavored rum like dragon berry or coconut. You can even change up the recipe a little bit and add pineapple and orange juice to give it a fuller fruit taste.
We hope that you enjoy drinking the worm bucket, but please remember to always drink responsibly!
