March Events in Destin

March not only brings us a crowd of Spring Break families and (hopefully) warmer weather, it also kicks off our first month of the year jam packed with fun events! We’ve compiled a few of the most fun events happening in and around Destin, Floria for your calendar.

Mardi Gras
Fat Tuesday is a must! Head out to Baytowne Wharf on Tuesday March 5 for a Mardi Gras parade, kicking off at 5pm. This year their pet parade will happen simultaneously, which means double the fun. There is also a parade and pet costume contest at Harborwalk Village in Destin, beginning at 5pm. Your choice!

Wednesday Night Concert Series
Every Wednesday night at the Village of Baytowne Wharf, enjoy free live music on the lawn beginning at 7pm. Bring your lawn chair to listen to a different act each week. Food and drink will be available from surrounding bars and restaurants – kids and pets welcome!

St. Patrick’s Day
If you’re looking for a family friendly way to spend St. Patty’s Day, look no further than the Village of Baytowne Wharf’s St. Patty’s Day Delight. The family fun kicks off at 6pm! Harborwalk Village also has a family friendly Harbor Party beginning at noon; come save at the merchants, enjoy games, music, food and more!

Tequila + Tacos
For a more adult friendly activity, check out Tequila & Tacos, an event in Harborwalk Village on Saturday March 9 from 1pm-5pm. Attendees will enjoy samples of tacos and tequila from a variety of bars and restaurants. Vote for your favorite after sampling them all! VIP tickets include a private bar, bathrooms, and additional tequila options. Advanced tickets required!
