Getting away with your family means trying to find activities to appease all ages, and we all know that’s not as easy as it sounds. Fudpuckers Teen Night
Every Tuesday and Thursday from 3/12/19-4/4/19, Fudpuckers in Destin throws a party for teens – That’s right, a safe and secure place for your teens age 14-17 to go hang out, dance, play games, and just have fun. With live music out on the deck, the entrances and exits are secured, and parents are welcome to sit inside at the bar to watch through the windows. There are two levels of tickets – regular entry is $15 and VIP tickets are $30. VIP includes access to special VIP area, FREE 22oz Fud cup with unlimited Coca Cola products, free glow necklace/bracelet, and free non-alcoholic champagne. Purchase tickets in advance here! Fudpuckers also has the only Alligator Park along the Emerald Coast. Swing by any time during the day to hold the alligators, feed them, and learn more about these amazing creatures. All ages are welcome and there is no cost to enter. They also offer a “Behind The Scenes VIP Tour” where guests can follow the Gator Handlers through the back hallways and learn the ins and outs of our park. Tickets are only available online and must be purchased in advance!
Free Beach Bonfire
Royal Palm Grille hosts a FREE Beach Bonfire every Monday and Friday nights on the sand outside their Beach Bar. All ages are welcome! The fire begins at sunset; chairs are provided and they have an full kitchen and bar, so no outside food or drink is permitted. We love this video by Silver Shade Studios showing the fun:
Dolphin Tour Aboard the Seablaster
The Seablaster is known for being one of Destin’s best dolphin excursions for a variety of reasons. All ages are welcome to board, and they include beverages in their ticket purchase. Kick back and take a cruise through the Destin Harbor and into the Gulf of Mexico while searching for dolphins. Once they’ve been spotted, watch them jump and play in the wake of the boat. Village of Baytowne Wharf
A headquarters for kid friendly activities, the Village of Baytowne Wharf has a different activity planned for most every night of the week. Kick off the week with Sunday Cinema night, with a free movie showing on the lawn. Come back for Hydroflight Mondays and watch Fly Guy Ben Merrell defy gravity and shoot through the air on a water powered board, doing tricks and performing for two shows, at 6:30pm and 8pm. Boomin’ Tuesdays begin at 6:30pm where your kids can enjoy lawn games, inflatables, and end the evening with fireworks. Wednesday nights become music city, where a free concert on the lawn takes over Baytowne with a different band every night, and see two amazing magic shows with Captain Davy on Magical Thursdays.
Fishing Charter
More than just fishing, spend the day on a boat touring our gorgeous coastline, watching dolphins swim and play, and of course, catching a few fish. Maximum Magic by Noah and Heather Wells
The perfect family-friendly occasion, you’ll enjoy 60 minutes of incredible illusions, hilarious comedy, special effects, unbelievable mentalism and more! Noah and Heather Wells are award winning illusionists who have created a mix of comedy and magic to keep all ages entertained. The show takes place at Harborwalk Theatre and tickets can be purchased in advance to reserve your seat here.
Sail & Swim Excursion
Give your kids an experience they will remember with a Sailing and Swimming Cruise aboard the Smile n Wave sailboat! Captain Pam entertains her guests and promises a great time on the water. Hub 30A
If you’ve never been, this is a must see place for your family! The Hub 30A offers a wide open lawn, surrounded by shops, bars, and restaurants for a casual, all ages hangout. Come out every Wednesday night for family movie night, with food and drink specials. With everything from candy to ice cream, beers to cocktails, tacos to pork sandwiches, there truly is something for everyone!
