Lions Tale Adventures Destin Fishing Charter

Today’s Preferred Partners feature is Lions Tale Adventures Destin Fishing charter.  Running on a 26 ft Pathfinder boat, it is a private charter for up to 6 people, just you and your family. We’ve gotten to know him a little better recently and are excited to share with you all the great services he offers.

First off, meet Captain Lionel. Growing up in Alaska, fishing was how he spent his summers and watching Fishing TV shows is how he spent his winters. With a childhood goal to be on a fishing tv show himself, that dream came true in 2017 when Addictive Fishing partnered with Capt Lionel on an inshore fishing episode in our Choctawhatchee Bay. With over 35k views on YouTube and countless more when it aired on FoxSports Sun and The Pursuit Channel, he quickly made a name for himself and the charter business he started himself just a few years ago.

What sets Capt Lionel apart is not only his passion for fishing, but also conserving our waters and the safety of our fish. While he prefers to catch and release, he knows the limits of you and your family would like to keep fish to eat while you’re here. For him, fishing is about having a great time on the water without having to kill everything you catch.

Services
Inshore (Bay Fishing) : A specialty of Capt Lionel, guests will cruise through the back bayous of our Choctawhatchee Bay, looking for Speckled Trout, Redfish, Ladyfish, BlueFish and more. The Bay is calmer as it’s protected on all sides, which makes it perfect for the beginner fisherman, or those who are prone to sea sickness. This is also a great choice for family fishing trips with young kids.

Offshore (Gulf Fishing) : If you’re more of a deep sea fisherman (or woman), Lions Tale Adventures offers nearshore and offshore fishing for a variety of fish. Depending on the time of year, he’s catching Amberjack, Redfish, Red Snapper, Grouper, Triggerfish and more. Trips are a 5 hour minimum to give you time to drive offshore and find the schools of big fish.

Corporate/Large Group Trips : Have a group larger than 6 that wants to fish? No problem! Lions Tale Adventures has a fleet of great captains that could do 2 or 3 boat charters. Guests will split up between boats, leaving at the same time from the same location and fishing nearby. This is also a popular idea if you have a group of adults who want to maximize their fishing time.

Dolphin Tours : With many large boats offering Dolphin Tours in Destin, Lions Tale Adventures Destin Fishing Charter has taken it to a new level by getting his guests up close and personal to these amazing creatures. Being on a smaller boat, often times the dolphins come right up to the side of the boat within reach. It truly is a one of a kind experience to be that close to dolphins, watching them spin and circle next to the boat. Bonus : These trips usually happen around sunset so you’ll also get a built on sunset cruise along the coast and back into our beautiful Harbor.
