Fudpuckers Jazz Show
Looking for something different to do on Valentine’s Day? Fudpuckers in Destin offers a FREE Jazz Show from the Downbeat Jazz Orchestra the third Thursday of every month and February’s falls on February 15. Grab your honey and come out for an evening of big band and contemporary jazz, beginning at 7pm. The Downbeat Jazz Orchestra consists of a diverse group of entertainers, ranging from professional musicians to music educators and jazz enthusiasts. The 18 piece orchestra plays classic favorites like Buddy Rich, Maynard Ferguson, Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band, Tom Kubis and Sammy Nestico. This event is FREE to attend! A Cash Bar featuring all your favorites and some very special libations from years past is available. You may also purchase an amazing array of Appetizers, Entrees and Desserts during the show.
Royal Palm Grille Valentine’s Day Dinner
Nothing is better than a sweet dinner with your Valentine’s date, and Royal Palm Grille is serving up a delicious menu for two from 5pm-8pm that Wednesday evening. Choose from Lobster Bisque or a salad to start, followed by either Bronzed Grouper with Lump Crab Bearnaise Sauce or Filet Mignon as your entrée, and top it off with a Chipotle Brownie with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and Salted Caramel Sauce. Cost is $35/per person and reservations are recommended but not required. RPG boasts an amazing kitchen and their head chef Mark Hall has won Best in Destin.
Sunquest Cruise Dinner and Dancing
A little more romantic than just dinner, snag your seat on the Sunquest Dinner Cruise for a chef prepared meal and dancing under the stars. Join them on Valentine’s Day from 7pm-10pm for $165/couple, and choose from a special 3-course meal beginning with Smoked Tomato & Basil Soup followed by your choice of entree: Filet Mignon, Seared Gulf Grouper, Roasted Chicken Breast, Venison Tenderloin, SOLARIS Crawfish & Grits or Stuffed Squash & Zucchini. After dinner, dance the night away with live entertainment or sneak above deck to watch the moon beams over the water. Reservations are required, make them either online or by calling 850-650-2519. If you’re busy Valentine’s evening, the cruise is also available Friday Feburary 16th 7pm-10pm or Saturday February 17th at sunset from 5pm-8pm.
Fishing Charter Trip
Skip the romantic evening out and give your hubby the gift he won’t buy for himself – A fishing charter on the water from one of our local guides! A four hour excursion this time of year means catching monster Redfish in the Gulf of Mexico. Send him out Valentine’s morning or save the excursion for later in the year when it warms up.
